Residents' Meeting To Hear About And Question The Guinness Partnership On Their Plans To Build More Flats On Our Estate

Residents of the Guinness Estate on Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith are invited to attend a public meeting on Tuesday 14 June. The meeting will begin at 4.00pm and will be held at the the Club House.

The reason for the meeting is that the Guinness Partnership have contacted us to say they have plans to build up to 40 or 50 new flats on our estate. We want to hear what that might mean for us and question the Guinness Partnership on how that will affect us. Guinness says those flats would be for sale and for rent. Clearly we want more homes built in London but we’re not yet convinced it is right for the Guinness Partnership to try to squeeze them into our estate.

The Tenants' Association has invited our local ward Councillor Stephen Cowan to come along so he can help represent us. Stephen is also the Leader of Hammersmith and Fulham Council. We have also asked Father Gianni Notarianni to attend as his church neighbours our estate and will be affected if the Guinness Partnership builds these flats.

So, please come along and take part...
